Car hire in Malta with Nova Drive starts at €6 a day for an Economy car, and every class is priced all-in: VAT and the Malta International Airport fee are already in the figure, together with collision damage waiver, third-party cover and unlimited mileage across Malta and Gozo. A refundable deposit is held on a credit card in the main driver's name at pickup and released when the car comes back; an optional excess-reduction upgrade lowers the amount held. Drivers aged 21 to 24 pay a young-driver surcharge, shown before payment rather than added at the desk. What changes your total is the class you pick, your dates and how long you hire for, and the full figure always appears before you pay. Every booking can be cancelled free up to 48 hours before pickup.

Driving in Malta: a quick primer
