Getting to Sliema from the airport

Sliema sits on the coast north of the harbour, roughly a 20 to 30 minute drive from Malta International Airport depending on traffic. You collect your car in Luqa with meet-and-greet, so there is no shuttle to a separate depot, then drive out to your hotel or apartment and you are settled in straight away.

Driving and parking in Sliema

Sliema is one of the busiest parts of the island, and the seafront fills up in season. On-street parking is limited and some bays are time-controlled or paid, so allow a little time to find a space or use a paid car park near your accommodation. Many of the back streets are narrow one-ways, so a smaller car is easier here.
