Nova Drive is built for visitors who want a simple, honest rental: see the full price before you pay, pick up the car at the airport, and head straight out to your hotel. Whether you are here for a few days by the sea or a longer island road trip, you will find a car that fits, from compact city runabouts to roomier vehicles for families.
You collect with meet-and-greet at Malta International Airport, Park East, in both directions — 08:00–02:00, seven days — and you can reach the team on +356 9905 6366 from our base at 89 Triq Il-Mastrudaxxa, Ħal Qormi.
What does car rental in Malta cost?
Car rental in Malta with Nova Drive starts at €6 a day for an Economy, and the figure you see is the whole figure: VAT and the Malta International Airport fee are included, together with collision damage waiver, third-party cover and unlimited mileage across Malta and Gozo. Rates are lowest in the quiet winter months and rise through July and August, so booking ahead for summer dates locks the current price, and every booking can be cancelled free up to 48 hours before pickup if plans change. A refundable deposit is held on a credit card in the main driver's name at pickup, and drivers aged 21 to 24 pay a young-driver surcharge that is shown before payment rather than added at the desk. What's included in the price?
Every Nova Drive rental includes VAT, the airport fee, Collision Damage Waiver (CDW) and third-party liability cover, unlimited mileage and 24/7 Malta-based support. A refundable deposit is held on a card at the desk, and you can reduce the excess with an optional upgrade at checkout. The hold needs a credit card in the main driver’s name — debit cards are not accepted for the deposit.
