How does airport pickup work?
When you book, you choose your pick-up and drop-off dates and times. We send clear meeting instructions before you travel: where to find your host in Luqa, what to bring, and the same price you already saw online. A short licence check, your keys, and you are on your way. Pickup and drop-off run 08:00–02:00, seven days a week. What does car hire at Malta Airport cost?
Car hire at Malta International Airport with Nova Drive starts at €4 a day for an Economy, all-in: VAT and the airport fee are already in the price, with collision damage waiver, third-party cover and unlimited mileage included as standard. There is no shuttle and no off-site depot to find. We meet you in Luqa, minutes from arrivals, hand over the keys after a quick licence check, and take the car back at the same spot at the end of your trip, any day between 08:00 and 02:00. Add your flight number during booking and we track its arrival, so a reasonable delay does not cost you your car or an extra fee. If plans change completely, free cancellation applies up to 48 hours before pickup.
What to bring to the desk
- A valid driving licence (held for the required minimum period).
- ID or passport and your booking confirmation.
- A credit card in the main driver’s name for the refundable deposit.
